HSM Henchman

The HSM series of mixers or a.k.a "Henchman" might seam like an ordinary mortar mixer until you look closely at the less obvious but truly ingenious features. The current offerings are a 2.5 bag electric or gas and a 4 bag hydraulic over gas mixer.

The 2.5 bagger is powered either by a 7HP Suburu, 9HP Honda or a 3HP 220 volt electric. The power is transfered to the paddles by way of centrifugal clutch (which when idled down can stop the paddle rotation) to a true oil bath gearbox. The gearbox transfers the high torque to the paddles which do not need any rubber wipers to mix a very aggressive but thorough mix.

The HSM 4 is fully hydraulic and the drum is offset so that loading height is lowered but dumping height is perfect. The hydraulic drive system is intercooled to cool down the fluid as it heats up under pressure. No shear pins on this mixer which is extremely useful when working under a silo application but a blowby valve is used instead. Say goodbye to downtime.

These mixers will out-mix any other paddle mixer on the market with speed, quality and reliability. Self-lubricating ceramic/nylon bushings replace the ever problematic pillow block bearings that are associated with all other mixers. We guarantee our bushings for 5 years! Rebuilding a complete drum assembly is a thing of the past with the HSM series. Dumping is easy and controlled with the extra heavy duty self-locking geared dump wheel of the HSM2 and is fully hydraulic on the HSM4. Henchman 4 has an optional leg kit - perfect for silo applications and large jobs where the mixer will stay for a while.
