KID Series

The portable KID line provides a cost effective spot heating, direct-fired solution for a large variety of applications. Direct fired combustion gas heaters are suitable for heating small to medium sized premises and well ventilated workshops as well as drying in construction industry. There are 5 models to choose from: KID 15, 30, 40, 60 and 80.
The KID portable heaters are manufactured in Italy and available in either automatic and manual ignitions powered by 110V, 60Hz. Ignition system: Manual (Kid 15 M), Continuous Spark (Kid 30 M and 40 M), Electronic (Kid 60 A and 80 A). All models function on the principle of direct-fired gas heating. A powerful fan is used to force air through a combustion chamber where the burner is situated. As the air passes through the burner, all the heat released by the combustion process is transferred to the air stream. This gives the heater a 100% thermal efficiency. The heat output of the heater can be varied by the manual adjustment of a regulating valve on KID 30 and larger.
The units are light weight and easy to carry. KID is designed in a secure way to protect the user from accidental burning when moving the heaters. KID heaters operate on Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG) or propane. The by-products of combustion are mainly water vapor and carbon dioxide (CO2).
The manual version (M) is equipped with a manual ignition device that needs to be pushed to light the flame. The automatic version (A), includes a sophisticated control unit that starts the unit as well as controlling the flame. The automatic version of KID heaters can be connected to a room thermostat. All the heaters include safety devices to control the flame, prevent overheating and also to optimize the fuel consumption. The units are also suitable for outdoor usage and meeting the requirements of the IPX4D protection class.
The KID series of heaters are constructed of a stainless steel inner chamber and unleaded epoxy powder coating on the exterior for long durable usage. Equipped with a solenoid valve, thermocoupler and safety thermostat, the KID comes complete also, with pressure control device and gas hose. KID heaters are CE and CSA apporoved.
