Portable Diesels

The portable diesel series from Pramac features Yanmar engines. 3 models make up the portables, the E3750, S5500 and the P6000 enclosed. The P6000 is a portable unit but it can also be used as a standby or temporary power source. Diesel engines are known for their long life and are also a good bet for the contractor that has heavy equipment on the job that also uses diesel fuel.

The P6000 is a unique product in that it can be used for heavy duty industrial use or as a stanby fully enclosed power source. The power behind this super-silent generator is a 10 HP Yanmar diesel. Yanmar, a leader in small diesel engines will give years and years of reliable service with little maintenance and also efficiency with fuel consumption. Generating the power and receiving the torque from the engine is a Mec' Alte alternator which can produce clean and efficient power with a low total harmonic distortion (THD), a measure of how true to near perfect a sine wave is. This means that you can be confident that your electronics will not be damaged by improper or low quality power.

The typical uses are for standby power such as in the telecom industry to power cell towers or switching stations. The long run time makes it a very viable solution.
